MSNBC reports on contact from GOP strategist in North Carolina that Sen. Elizabeth Dole is likely to be defeated by Kay Hagan in that state's Senate race.

UPDATE: As of 8:25pm, Kay Hagan has been projected to win.

Good. I mean I used to think she was okay (for a Republican ;->), but the most tasteless, low class campaign ad ever deserves to crush her career.

Now that's a relief.

I didn't think too much of Dole to begin with, but that campaign ad of hers was wrong. She didn't just cross the line, she jumped over it.

Though there are many things I like about Hagan, I must say that as a woman who grew up around domestic violence, I particularly support her idea to allow victims of domestic violence to take leave from work and sort everything out.
