Greetings one and all, and welcome back for US Election 2008's coverage of the third and final Presidential debate of this election cycle, from the campus of Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. This week, a confident Barack Obama leads in the national polls, but John McCain reckons he's got them right where he wants them. Only the next 3 weeks will tell for sure, but in the mean time tonight's debate represents the only scheduled occasion the two candidates will have to confront one another directly before the election.

We'll be here to highlight key points and ask some questions, but as always this is all about you, so join the fray and tell us what you think. And stay tuned for the post-debate insta-poll... we'll be asking you to tell us who you think won, and why.

"you gotta read what he said"

yeah. just like sarah thinks you gotta "read the report"

your dippy vp didn't bother to tell people not to shout "kill me" about a presidential candidate. own that, you old coot.
